This is a breaking change for the delegate types with the object return type: Before this change, the returned object will always be an PSObject instance. After this change, the returned object is the underlying object, which could still be an PSObject if that's what the script actually returns.
Testing
The tests are organized by testing language. Thus Pester tests, which are written in the PowerShell language, are in ./powershell and xUnit tests, written in C#, are in ./xUnit. The third-party shebang test is in ./shebang.
