Sharing build script changes to support development in SxS willow environment.
`configure.ps1` script is now able to identify the latest willow instance and deduce VS install dir and msbuild path. Configuration parameters are store in `artifacts\configure.json` file so that build or test script don't need to run in the same PS session.
Fixed VC++ project system interop assembly dependency.
Optional. Set VSIX version in manifest to 3.6.99.99 to be able to publish locally built extension to experimental instance. Otherwise this fails due to version conflict. This change is safe as CI overwrites the version string in the manifest on S&P build step.
Code cleanup to fix:
- Use of unapproved verbs
- Use of redundant switch
Intentionally setting VSIX manifest version to 99.99.99
Produce two sets of .nupkgs: one with build number and one without
Produce the NuGet.CommandLine package as part of the main build
Fix https://github.com/NuGet/Home/issues/3395
FixesNuGet/Home#3185
- Added a parameter pointing to the right version of NuGet.Core for pdb publishing
- Added pdb to the command line package nuspec
- Minor script fixes
Added script replacing NuGet core floating version in NuGet clients
projects. Needed mostly in release branches to override more advanced
builds coming from myget feed/dev builds.
- Ordered .gitattributes settings for text files.
- Normalized the line endings across source files.
- Updated dotnet-test-xunit version to 1.0.0-rc2-173384-19.
- Loosened test build result checks from testing `$?` to simply verifying
the `$LASTEXITCODE`.
- Re-wrote GlobalSuppressions.cs files in UTF8.
- Fixed weird dependency of `System.Runtime.4.1.0/net46` by replacing it
with framework assembly entry.
- Fixed build warnings.
- Added build status to the front repo page.
SemanticVersion as a single property.
2. Created an UpdateVersion script that can be used
when creating new releases.
3. Updated version from 3.4.0 to 3.5.0 on the vsix manifest version
and NuGetPackage.cs
With the new script though, it will be an easy and safe change.
